Fire destroys two homes in west Lethbridge

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Service (LFES) is continuing to investigate a house fire on the west side.

They were called at around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, to Kensington Road West in the Garry Station neighbourhood.

A total of 26 firefighters from all five stations arrived to find heavy smoke and flames.

Two homes were destroyed in the fire, but all occupants escaped safely, and nobody was hurt.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, and LFES is working on damage estimates.

The Lethbridge Police Service is asking anyone in the area with security cameras to review their footage between 2:00 and 3:00 a.m. for any people or activities in the area.

Those with footage are asked to call LPS at 403-328-4444 and reference file 26003144.
