Nobody hurt after vehicle in Lethbridge ‘fully engulfed’ in flames

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services (LFES) is continuing to investigate a vehicle and grass fire in the city.
At approximately 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 2, 2026, firefighters were called to an area near the entrance to Popson Park, by University Drive and 10 Street West.
When members arrived, they found a half-ton truck fully engulfed in flames. A small section of stubble field was also on fire.
The flames were quickly extinguished.
