Amazon announces new Delivery Service Partner Hub in Lethbridge
Amazon Canada has announced a new partnership that aims to improve delivery times in southern Alberta.
The online retail giant has announced its latest Local Delivery Service Partner (LDSP), Lethbridge’s RHAY Logistics.
The company says it represents a newer business model for Amazon in Canada, in which facilities are operated by independent business owners, who contract with Amazon to build and operate their own local delivery service.
Customer orders are sorted at nearby Amazon delivery stations and shipped by Amazon to the new sites, where they are delivered by LDSPs and loaded onto delivery vehicles for the final journey to customers’ doorsteps.
