Excite Lethbridge is excited to announce that this year’s Ag Expo was the biggest yet.

The organization says it was both the highest-attended and the one with the most vendors.

Running from Feb. 25-27, a total of 313 agricultural exhibitors, represented by 1,700 people, showcased the latest equipment, technologies and services, including 38 who were new this year.

More than 7,800 guests packed the Lethbridge Trade & Convention Centre, up over 10 per cent from 2025.

Paul Kingsmith, Director of Event Development at Excite Lethbridge, says it is the highest total since recent records began in 2018.

“The agriculture industry is telling us that Ag Expo is a valuable annual event for them and the numbers are showing that,” says Kingsmith. “We are focused on bringing in high-quality, relevant exhibitors who are moving agriculture forward and we take pride in seeing the connections that are made and the business that is done not just over these three days, but throughout the year. We are committed to continuing to grow the event and finding new and innovative ways to celebrate the local agriculture community.”

All of the trade halls were full, and dozens of organizations lined up in the hallway. There were also 22 companies exhibiting large equipment, several of which had set up outside of the building.

The North American Seed Fair featured more than 185 entries in 25 classes.

Ag Expo was presented by Vanee Farm Centre. Sales Manager Mike Vas says the event continues to be one of the best opportunities for their team to connect with producers and industry partners from across the region.

“This year’s strong attendance and quality conversations show that producers are actively looking at equipment, technology and solutions to help move their operations forward. As the presenting partner, we’re proud to support an event that brings the agriculture community together and showcases the innovation shaping the future of farming in Southern Alberta,” says Vas.

Ag Expo is set to return Feb. 24-26, 2027.
