Wind Warning in place for Lethbridge and area

Strong west winds gusting to 100 km/h are expected in Lethbridge and the surrounding area today.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), winds will weaken this afternoon, however, but high-sided vehicles will be pushed around by the wind in the meantime.

Residents are advised to secure loose objects.

Areas in and around the mountains as well as areas north of Lethbridge are under Snowfall Warnings.
