Coaldale hosts 3A basketball provincials

Coaldale is set to host the SSA 3A Basketball Provincials starting Thursday, March 19 at Coaldale Prairie Winds Secondary School.

The tournament will bring together high school teams from across the province, with games taking place at multiple venues, including Coaldale Prairie Winds Secondary School, R.I. Baker Middle School, and Kate Andrews High.

Events begin Thursday morning with an 8 a.m. breakfast banquet at the SHIFT Community Recreation Centre, followed by opening ceremonies at 9 a.m. in the Prairie Winds Gym.

Gameplay is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.

Both the boys’ and girls’ divisions will compete throughout the tournament.
