University of Lethbridge to host Vibe Fest celebrating fine arts

Apr 9, 2026 | 5:24 PM

The University of Lethbridge is inviting the community to explore creativity and innovation at its annual Vibe Fest.

The event, presented by Stringam Law, is set to take place on April 18 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the University Centre for the Arts and is free to attend.

Organizers say the event highlights the work of students, faculty, staff and alumni from the Faculty of Fine Arts, offering a range of exhibitions, performances and interactive experiences.

“ Vibe Fest shows off all the things that creative arts and technologies are in 2026,” said Dean Heather Davis-Fisch.

Visitors can attend music concerts, installations, a new media showcase and a collaborative performance, along with an artisan market hosted by the University of Lethbridge Students’ Union.

A curator-led tour of the university’s art gallery exhibition Parallels, featuring the Buchanan Collection, will also be offered.

Organizers say the event helps promote arts education while building support for the arts in southern Alberta.

Vibe Fest is free to attend for all ages.
