Flames continue strong play at home with 4-1 win over playoff-bound Mammoth
CALGARY — Brayden Pachal had a goal and two assists on Sunday night as the Calgary Flames’ hot streak at home continued with a 4-1 victory over the Utah Mammoth.
Matt Coronato, Connor Zary and Mikael Backlund also scored for Calgary (33-38-9), which is 7-0-1 in its last eight at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Lawson Crouse scored for Utah (42-32-6), which has lost two straight on the heels of a five-game winning streak.
The playoff-bound Mammoth hold down the first wild-card spot in the Western Conference. They have a three-point lead on the Los Angeles Kings, who have a game in hand.
