Temporary partial lane closures on Whoop-Up Drive

Ahead of this year’s maintenance work, officials with the City of Lethbridge say further site evaluation work will create some temporary partial lane closures on Whoop-Up Drive Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The impacts will be:

• Starting at 9 a.m., there will be a single lane closure on both westbound and eastbound Whoop-Up Drive near the gate close to University Drive. Speed will be reduced to 50 km/h for an anticipated three hours.
• Starting at about noon, the outside and inside lanes of westbound Whoop-Up Drive on the bridge will be closed alternatively. Speed will be reduced to 50 km/h for an anticipated three hours.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution and follow all posted signage.
