Final phase of Pathway 17 construction

Final work on a busy south Lethbridge pathway begins on Wednesday, April 15.

City officials say Pathway 17 is a multi-use trail along 43 Street South and South Parkside Drive South and connects the city’s existing pathways into one seamless loop. The city says this makes it easier than ever for people in Lethbridge to walk, bike and enjoy the outdoors.

Officials say this final phase of construction includes tie-ins, grading and landscaping. The entire pathway will be closed to accommodate this work.

The city expectes the pathway to be fully reopen by May 31, weather permitting.
