Lethbridge participating in 2026 City Nature Challenge

Lethbridge is once again taking part in the City Nature Challenge.

The challenge is an annual, global event where citizens spend four days in April finding and documenting as many plants and wildlife as they can find in their city.

The Friends of Helen Schuler Nature Centre are hosting the event in Lethbridge as they encourage anyone interested to participate in this entry into citizen science.

In 2025, Lethbridge had 31 observers participate in the challenge as they submitted over 2,000 observations of 486 species.
