OTTAWA — Canada’s women’s rugby team will close out a domestic series against top-ranked England with a match at Ottawa’s TD Place this fall.

Rugby Canada announced Tuesday the second stop of The Rugby Rematch Tour, which will take place Oct. 23.

It will follow an Oct. 16 match at Toronto’s BMO Field, which will be the first showdown between England and Canada since the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup final, which the host Red Roses won 33-13.

Canada defeated the United States 42-10 before a record crowd of 11,453 on Aug. 1 in Ottawa before departing for the World Cup.

The Rugby Rematch Tour is part of the WXV Global Series, a new competition format that features 18 national unions competing in more than 100 fixtures in the lead up to the 2029 Women’s Rugby World Cup in Australia.

Canada’s other three series matches will be played in September against Scotland, England and France in Europe.
