Lethbridge non-profit celebrates 80 years of caring

A major milestone for an international organization and a Southern Alberta group this year – 80 years of charity support in the Bridge City.

The group, Beta Sigma Phi was first started in 1946.

Recently, the Lethbridge chapter held its Founders Day banquet at Paradise Canyon Golf Resort, recognizing its eight decades of community service.

As of 2026, close to 200,000 women belong to Beta Sigma Phi worldwide, with chapters in 30 countries and every province in Canada.
