City introduces website for field/facility closures

The City of Lethbridge is providing a new service for sports groups and field users.

It’s now set up a web page dedicated to field and facility closures.

While chances are most events would be cancelled because of bad weather, the new site will verify if a sports field, for example, is off limits

It’ll replace the existing recorded phone line.

The City says updated information will be uploaded by 2:30 on weekday afternoons.
