Police in Lethbridge say they’ve arrested a suspect in an apparent assault, but have yet to locate the victim.

At around 6:30 Sunday night, authorities responded to a complaint of one male threatening another with a knife at Henderson Lake, northeast of the golf clubhouse.

They were able to locate a person fitting the description of the aggressor on Parkside Drive.

In fleeing from the LPS, the man was seen throwing, what turned out to be a knife, into a backyard.

Now, police are hoping to speak to the victim in this incident, described as a male with ginger hair and a ginger beard, wearing orange shorts, a black t-shirt, an orange helmet, and riding a long board or skateboard.

Police are also looking for additional witnesses that might have seen the altercation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police service non-emergency line at 403-328-4444 or anonymously through Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
