Outlaw Motorcycle Gang activity rising across the province

Alberta RCMP are sending a warning out to the public, as Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMG) activity is expected to rise this summer.

Satan’s Choice Motorcycle Club is reportedly growing in size and expanding into Alberta, which Mounties note could lead to conflicts with other gangs and clubs, including the Hells Angels.

With that in mind, residents are encouraged to avoid all OMG’s and areas where these gangs are active.

Mounties note that during the summer, residents will most likely see an increase of these gangs out of on roadways and gas stations; however, “to help ensure public safety,” RCMP will be “actively focusing resources on mitigating gang activity,” with larger police presences planned for weekends when group rides are scheduled to take place.

Residents are reminded to contact 911, if they see a crime in progress, or report it anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
