Man faces charges in apparent Friday night assault against boy, woman

Police in Lethbridge have charged a 29-year-old man after an apparent attack in which three people were assaulted.

The incident, in question, took place around 8:00 Friday evening in the 1200-block of 8th Avenue North.

Further investigation has revealed the man entered a northside backyard, was confronted by the occupants and upon being told to leave, became aggressive, striking a 16-year-old boy and 38-year-old woman.

A third person, parked in a nearby vehicle, was also threatened with harm.
