Lethbridge & Medicine Hat Kidney Walk on tap for this weekend

Southern Alberta’s annual Kidney Walk, in support of those affected by kidney disease, is set to go this weekend in both Lethbridge and Medicine Hat.

According to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, roughly one in ten Canadians live with the disease, and while it’s thought to be an ‘older person’s’ ailment, 42 per cent are actually under the age of 65.

In Lethbridge, the walk goes Saturday from Henderson Lake Park, with registration at 9 a.m. and the event beginning at 10.

In Medicine Hat, it’s Sunday at the College, but with the same times.
