County, town look at development possibilities west of Nobleford
A study into future commercial and industrial development west of Nobleford is the basis of a $100,000 grant from the Province of Alberta.
In making the announcement, provincial economy minister Joseph Schow said he was “looking forward to seeing how the Town and Lethbridge County use this funding to unlock new opportunities for economic development and employment.”
The County and Town are considering using land near the intersection of Highway 23 and Highway 519 and the study will help to give the two municipalities a good indication on demand and the type of business that would be best suited.
Funding for the probe is through the Province’s Northern and Regional Economic Development fund.
