Budget discussions next week to centre around city’s operating budget

Service level changes are on the way next year in Lethbridge as City Council looks to tighten up its 2027 Operating Budget.

But, before any final decisions are made, it wants to hear from its residents and businesses.

Council has set aside two days for discussion, next Wednesday and Thursday.

The Operating Budget funds essential services such as police, fire, transit, parks, road maintenance and snow removal, but it also covers things like libraries, arenas and pools.
