Popular Project Protein returns to Lethbridge’s Interfaith Food Bank

The Interfaith Food Bank Society in Lethbridge is bringing back Project Protein.
Organizers behind the program say it’s meant to ensure families have reliable access to high quality ground meat, be it domestic or game.
Donors simply have to call their abattoir to schedule drop-off, and Project Protein will cover all processing fees and provide a charitable tax receipt.
Five local butcheries – Ben’s Quality Meats, Lethbridge Meats & Seafood, Den Boon Meats, Prairie Custom Meats, and Valley Custom Meats – are all taking part.
