New incoming U of L students to receive orientation Saturday
Fall classes at the U of L are still some 12 weeks away, but Saturday the university is holding something, it calls, Ahead of the Herd.
Hannah Thomas is responsible for student orientation, transition, and retention at the school and explains what the annual gathering is all about.
“Meet the faculty members. Learn about student services that they can access while they’re on campus, and just get a feel.” Thomas outlines.
“They can do housing tours if they’re living in residence to see what they’re moving into in the Fall. Their parents, and their family members, or any supports, are also welcome to come on the day.”
