Where are we going? Are we getting better?

Although the upcoming referendum in October is on the minds of many, the MLA for Lethbridge East says he’s hearing other concerns, as well.

One of them, Nathan Neudorf admits, is the state of Alberta’s economy and his party’s priority – how best to stabilize it.

“Where are we going? Are we getting better? Are we getting worse? I want to make sure that people are aware of the good strides we’re taking,” said Neudorf, as the government pauses for the Summer months.

“Yes, we want to get that referendum behind us and get onto a stronger Alberta. Get people engaged in a positive way for a good year next year.”

As the recently-appointed Minister of Assisted Living and Social Services, Neudorf added he’s spending time over the Summer learning his new portfolio, at a pivotal time when the Province shifts from the AISH program, Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped to ADAP, the Alberta Disability Assistance Program.
