RCMP confirm a Brooks woman also died from last week’s two-vehicle collision in Lethbridge County

Alberta RCMP have now confirmed a second person, a 42-year-old woman from Brooks, died in hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Lethbridge County last week.

The incident, between a Volkswagen Jetta and Mitsubishi Outlander, occurred last Tuesday just after 8 p.m. on a stretch of Highway 4 near Range Road 210.

The collision also claimed the life of a 72-year-old Lethbridge man, who died on scene.

An investigation was launched immediately after the collision, but no early indications were given if weather or speed were being considered as contributing factors.
