Water Quality Advisory for Little Bow Provincial Park beach along Travers Reservoir
Jun 21, 2026 | 7:00 AM
Alberta Health Services (AHS) has put a Water Quality Advisory in place for the main beach at Little Bow Provincial Park on Travers Reservoir.
The advisory comes after testing revealed elevated levels of fecal bacteria in the water.
AHS warns ingesting the water could result in gastrointestinal illness, as well as possible skin, ear and eye infections and is discouraging any swimming or wading into the reservoir.
The advisory remains in place until further notice.
