Traffic pattern changes coming Tuesday to Whoop-Up Drive/Scenic Drive South intersection

Expect traffic delays and, maybe, some confusion, starting Tuesday around the intersection of Whoop-Up Drive and Scenic Drive South with new planned interchange improvement work.

Anyone driving westbound looking to access Scenic Drive will be re-routed north onto 5th Street South and then west onto 5th Avenue South.

The right turn lane for northbound Scenic Drive traffic, for eastound traffic to 5th Avenue, will be closed.

And, once the 6th Avenue on-ramp reopens, drivers won’t be able to turn left onto Scenic Drive after a safety review recommended the change.
