New Indigenous Artist in Residence program coming to U of L in 2027

The University of Lethbridge is introducing a brand new Indigenous Artist in Residence program it’s hoping to get off the ground in 2027. 

Faculty of Fine Arts dean, Dr. Heather Davis-Fisch, says the program reflects the U of L’s commitment to amplifying Indigenous voices. 

She says, by providing opportunities for professional development and career advancement close to the community, artists can continue their training without sacrificing their connections to family. 

Applications for the program are now be accepted until August 31st.
