Shifting winds push lingering smoke from BC wildfires into Lethbridge region Thursday

Shifting winds from two wildfires in BC’s Fraser Canyon has pushed smoke into the Lethbridge region.

On Wednesday, several B.C. cities including Kamloops and Revelstoke were shrouded in smoke.

The same smoke has now made its way into Calgary, and other Southern Alberta cities, including Lethbridge and Medicine Hat, and while not as bad as the B.C. Interior, it is noticeable.

According to Fire Smoke Canada, skies should be clear, again, late day Thursday, however, that will all depend on wind direction.
