Bulls return home but lose first of two-game match-up with Moose Jaw

The Lethbridge Bulls returned home to Spitz Stadium Friday night following a four-game road trip, but it certainly wasn’t the homecoming they had hoped for, edged out 3-2 by the Moose Jaw Miller Express in WCBL action.

2nd baseman Kalem Haney, who went 1-for-3 at the plate, scored both of the Bulls’ runs, the second score coming after a steal from first to second base.

It was just the third loss in 10 games for the Toros, who remain atop the West Division standings, by virtue of their .724 winning percentage, having played six games less than Okotoks.

The second game in the two-game series between the Bulls and Miller Express is set to go at 6:10 this evening.
