June home sales across Lethbridge region continued to slump in June

Home sales in the Lethbridge region remained sluggish during the month of June, both year-to-date and year-over-year. 

That’s according to the latest figures from the Lethbridge & District Association of Realtors. 

In the city, 188 transactions took place last month, down 9.4 percent when compared with January to June of last year. 

In comparison, it was a 2.1 percent fall when looking at June 2026 versus June 2025.

There was also a decline in sales outside of Lethbridge, in the county, and surrounding communities like Coalhurst, Coaldale, and Taber.

June’s 288 sales, was a slump of 8.8 percent year-to-date and 4.4 percent year-over-year.

The average home price in the city was $471,461, a rise of 7.2 percent from June of last year, while $465,176, a climb of 6.8 percent, was the benchmark for rural sales.
