Blue Jays put Jonatan Clase on 10-day injured list with plantar fasciitis

TORONTO — Outfielder Jonatan Clase has been on the Toronto Blue Jays’ 10-day injured list with left plantar fasciitis.
He was hurt running during pre-game warm-ups on Tuesday.
Right-handed pitcher Lazaro Estrada was optioned to triple-A Buffalo in another roster move.
Outfielder Yohendrick Pinango and right-hander CJ Van Eyk were recalled from the Blue Jays’ minor-league affiliate in Buffalo, N.Y., in corresponding moves.
