Lethbridge Elks baseball club hosts Alberta/Montana AA American Legion championship

The Lethbridge Elks will play host to the Alberta/Montana American Legion double-A baseball championship, starting this weekend at Spitz Stadium. 

Head coach Scott Oikawa said the club is looking forward to doing something they haven’t been able to do in over ten years.

“We actually haven’t had a chance to host since 2014, due to Covid and such,” said Oikawa as the team practiced Thursday.

“It got pushed back a little bit. We’re pretty excited and having a pretty successful year and I think that puts a little more excitement in the air.”
