Christmas Hope to make an appearance at Saturday’s Farmers Market in Lethbridge
With Saturday being exactly six months away from Christmas Day, the folks behind Lethbridge’s annual Christmas Hope campaign thought it might be a good idea to get out into the community.
Danielle McIntyre with the Interfaith Food Bank says they’ll be setting up tables at the Farmers Market at the Trade & Convention Centre.
“We’re encouraging community members to stop by our booths to either donate financially or through food or gifts, but also through our Christmas in July gift card campaign, where we’re asking for community members to drop off gift cards to their partner of choice that we’re going to need to serve our community at Christmas.”
The seven partners of choice mentioned are the Interfaith and Lethbridge food banks, the Salvation Army, LSCO, Family Services Angel Tree, MyCityCare, and Volunteer Lethbridge.
