Feral, stray cats in Fort Macleod to be neutered, spayed this week

The Town of Fort Macleod will carry out its Trap, Neuter, & Return program for feral and stray cats in the community, beginning Monday. 

It’ll be focused on the 300-block of 10th Street and 100-block of 15th during the day, from 8:30 ’til 4:30, until this Thursday. 

The Town says cats will be captured in humane traps and held for a minimum of 12 hours before transported for veterinary care.

Residents with cats that go outdoors, are being asked to keep them inside this week to prevent any accidental trapping.
