‘Stuff the Bus’ school supplies initiative underway in Lethbridge, ahead of new school year

Several community groups are joining forces with Ready, Set, GO! for an annual operation that’s come to be known as Stuff the Bus.
For those not familiar with the program, MyCityCare Lethbridge director Tanya Lister explains.
“Part of it is we gather new school supplies to be able put together backpacks for families for kids and families in need. Just to make sure they have some extra support. It can really add up for people and we just want to help and provide that support.”
The hope is to fill 1,700 backpacks with new school supplies ranging from pens and pencils to glue sticks and binders.
