LPS pleased with results of recent community survey on safety, satisfaction with service

A new survey commissioned by the Lethbridge Police Service shows that public confidence of the force and its officers is gaining positive traction. 

Carried out by PRA Inc., the poll questioned respondents on such things as satisfaction, community safety, and where the focus of police should be.

“The biggest measure of our success on service delivery to the community is the trust of the community in its police service,” Chief Shahin Mehdizadeh stated during a news conference Wednesday.

“When those number continually go up, and with the recent response that we got, it’s really satifying.”
