1940 – 2026

THERESE MUNROE, beloved wife of the late Keddy Munroe in 2015, passed peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the age of 85 years.

Therese is survived by her daughter Kim (Tyler); grandchildren: Colton (Kitana) and Sydney; Keddy’s boys: Keddy Jr (Darlene), Larry and Brian (Susan) and their families; and her best friend Marj.

Therese was from a large family and loved to spend time with her siblings; she looked forward to the yearly reunion in Blackie. A hairdresser by trade, she worked in Calgary in the early 70’s. In 1974, Therese and Keddy moved their family to Barons, becoming part of an active community. From 1986-2004, she was a part of the Village of Barons Town Council, and served as both counselor and mayor.

Therese loved her east coast family; visits from Wanda and Helen were highly anticipated. Most recently, she was living at Blue Sky Lodge, where she quickly fit in and made new friends, and enjoyed the activities. Therese always had her hair and nails done, a book on the go, and fun sassy way about her.

We’ll miss you, Mom.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at ST. MARTHA’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 355 Columbia Blvd. West, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. with Father Valentine Suum celebrating.
