Coaldale residents reminded to maintain their properties in month-long education campaign
The Town of Coaldale is reminding its residents that they’re responsible for keeping grass short, weeds plucked, and trimming back any vegetation like trees and shrubs, that’s on their property.
During the month of August, the Town will focus on property maintenance requirements, saying the rains we’ve received this year, and now the nice stretch of sunshine has made things really grow.
Known as the Community Standards Bylaw, it outlines the guidelines of property owners.
“The purpose of this campaign is to provide residents with clear information about their responsibilities and encourage everyone to take some time to inspect their properties,” says Mike Numan, Manager of Enforcement Services.
