Taber Police, sheriffs, ‘crack down’ on vehicle violations during Thursday blitz

The Taber Police Service joined Alberta Sheriffs in a joint vehicle inspection and enforcement session last Thursday.

While it was only a few hours in length, several violations were noted, including 29 for illegal window tinting, three drivers ticketed for not wearing a seatbelt, and two for inadequate mud guards.

The Taber Police Service is reminding drivers to ensure that their vehicles are compliant with the Alberta Traffic Safety Act and all of its regulations.
