Lethbridge’s Summertime water drive continues until month’s end

Although we’re in a bit of cooling trend right now, the heat will return, and with it, the demand by the unhoused and at risk population to need fresh, clean drinking water.

Several non-profit agencies, like the Lethbridge Food Bank, are collecting closed packages of bottled water until the end of the month.

Executive director Tim Rempel was asked to give us an update on the progress, so far.

“It’s going well, which is not necessarily a good thing,” Rempel began.
