Wood’s Homes unveils new Blackfoot-inspired logo as part of company’s new rebrand

After being gifted with a Blackfoot name two years ago, Wood’s Homes, which has a centre in Lethbridge, has now unveiled its new logo. 

Translated, Isspoomstoiyis is a home or dwelling offering help and support.

Devena First Rider, who’s been with the organization for close to five years, says one thing stuck with her from the 2024 ceremony.

“The most impressionable thing that Dr. Leroy said, Dr. Little Bear said was, ten years ago in our community here, we wouldn’t have even thinking about this collaboration. So, this is really huge monumental piece or component to our ability or to reconcile, I guess.”
