The member of parliament for Lethbridge calls it concerning that there’s been no trade deal worked out with the United States.

Speaking to Lethbridge News Now this morning at her Whoop-Up Days breakfast, Rachael Thomas says Mark Carney campaigned on reaching an agreement.

“It’s not looking good and I think that’s really concerning, especially here in southern Alberta where we rely on our trade relationship with the United States in order to move commodity to market for our producers to make a living,” Thomas stipulated.

“And, so, the fact that (Prime Minister Mark) Carney hasn’t been able to get this deal and serve Canada well, in this regard, is very concerning.”
