Sport Council unveils new Sport Bank to community, supporters

The Lethbridge Sport Council officially unveiled its new Sport Bank to the community Monday morning. 

Located at 1401 28th Street North, it’ll provide kids and adults the chance to pick-up used sports equipment at no cost. 

With the message now out, Sport Council executive director Susan Eymann says the real work now begins.

“Now we need to get the word out and get the children, youth and adults in here and get the equipment out. We know people are donating equipment. We’ve already had, today, many requests for the donation bins at various locations around the community.”
