Wood’s Homes in place for children, youth, and families facing challenges

While many in the community might know about the Streets Alive Mission, there is another organization in Lethbridge that provides services to youth. 

We caught up with Carrie Dahl, the executive director at Wood’s Homes, during their waffle breakfast fundraiser back on Wednesday.

“We run the Opportunity Hub. We also run our emergency youth shelter and a couple of group homes in town so our focus is mostly on young people, youth and their families,” Dahl outlined.

“We’re very big with mental health, life skills development, and employment services. Basically, wrap-around services. Anything youth might need.”
