We really believe Lethbridge has enjoyed it: Excite Lethbridge CEO

The 2026 edition of Whoop-Up Days is now in the books, and although the final numbers aren’t in yet, early indications are is was a rousing success. 

Besides the mainstays of the festival each year, Excite Lethbridge CEO Kim Gallucci says a couple of new additions were also popular with fairgoers.

“Some of the new things we introduced this year were some new food items – the dill pickle poutine, for example. We also had a cabaret that we added to the rodeo, which has been a huge hit. We really appreciate people coming out for that. The entertainment has been well-attended and, overall, we really believe that Lethbridge has enjoyed it.”

Gallucci was also impressed and thankful to the many businesses and organizations who got on board to hold their own pancake breakfasts, which seem to grow in numbers each year.
