A smoother stroll at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden
Officials with the City of Lethbridge say a major project will improve accessibility and visitor experience at one of the community’s most popular attractions.
The Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden (NYJG) Pathway project begins Monday, Aug. 31. The project is part of the City of Lethbridge 2022 – 2031 Capital Improvement Program and supports City Council’s Strategic Plan by supporting a culturally vibrant city.
Officials say the Garden’s regular season ends on Aug. 30, with construction beginning the next day. The project is scheduled to be done by Oct. 31, with no impact on the Winter Light Festival.
