Alberta RCMP SAD CRU arrests individual wanted on Canada-Wide warrants

A wanted man from B.C. is facing charges after being arrested in southern Alberta this week.

On Aug. 24, 2026, Alberta RCMP Southern Alberta District (SAD) Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) and Alberta RCMP Police Dog Services arrested Nicholas Masters, 28, in Carmangay after receiving multiple tips from the public.

Mounties say Masters was wanted on 14 Canada-wide warrants, with offences including fraud, identity theft, personation with intent and using a forged document. According to police, Masters was also found to be in possession of a Ford F250, stolen out of Calgary, and a license plate, stolen out of Vulcan. 

RCMP say Masters was brought before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody, pending transport back to British Columbia.
