Charges laid against individual for alleged trafficking

LPS execute 128 warrants during one-day ‘stepped up’ enforcement campaign

Lethbridge Police Service cracked down on the city’s criminal element this past Tuesday, September 8th, including those living in the downtown core. 

LPS said they executed 128 outstanding arrest warrants as part of their ongoing initiative to address crime and social disorder. 

Besides the warrants, they also witnessed over two dozen cases of open drug use and seized multiple weapons from tents in the 2A Avenue North area. 

Among those arrested was a 46-year-old Barons man who was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of the Proceeds of Crime.
