Housing, contractor support important to City in building Lethbridge into the future

The Building Industry & Land Development Association, or simply BILD, is known throughout the area as a voice for residential construction.

On Wednesday, BILD Lethbridge held the launch of its annual Parade of Homes event, one attended by several members of Council, including the mayor. 

Blaine Hyggen is big supporter of the organization and strongly believes it’s an important part of the conversation when talking about the city’s future.

“Housing can come in many different shapes and forms, so we just want to make sure we do our part in making sure that they (contractors) can get the permitting in place in time so that we can keep the industry moving forward, because that’s always a challenge, of course, and (one) we’ve heard loud and clear.”
