Nature Conservancy of Canada announces land agreement near Crowsnest Pass

The Nature Conservancy of Canada is partnering with a multi-generational family that owns land between Crowsnest Lake and Coleman.

“The Kropinak family have been on the land for over 100 years,” explains Sean Feagan, the group’s Alberta communiciations director.

“They value their property and they want to see it conserved in perpetuity. So, we worked together to make a tailor-made agreement to ensure this land stays intact.”

The property connects with the Jim Prentice Wildlife Corridor, an important passage for grizzly bears, elk, wolves and other wildlife travelling through the area.
